All-ages Skate & Snowshoeing Workshop
Saturday, March 15, 2025

Join us on March 15 for an afternoon of community, exercise & learning — an all-ages open skate, plus a snowshoe workshop at the KMM Office in L'Amable. KMM's ace showshoe racer Bernie Hogan will be on hand to explore the evolution of this ingenious, traditional mode of transportation & help you give it a try. Hot snacks & drinks will be served, of course!

The Birthplace Of Sir Frederick Banting

Sir Frederick Banting discovered Insulin in 1921 with Best, Collip and Macleod. In 1923 he won the Nobel Laureate and was the first Canadian to win this award. He remains the youngest winner of the Medical Nobel Prize to this day.• See where Banting was born and grew up.
